The Apple OS 25 is the return of Windows Aero

So yeah, Apple always had better design but Steve Jobs days (or even Johnny Ive) are over.

Latest “glass” design is very similar to concept of Windows Vista’s “Aero”.

But hey, the world is always reintroducing trends / history repeats itself just as newer macOS versions look like older flatter ones.

I think it’s ridiculous. Back in the day users could install themes on the OS. Now Apple forces one theme a year and calls it a “new OS”.

Well… technically you have now 3 themes since there’s the “clear” one now.

But there are already comparison to Android 16 and examples where this UI becomes awkward. But I guess those will be ironed out as they progress towards release.
