The apple remote

I have tried this on Apple discussions without any luck. anybody here who can help?
My little white remote works fine under all conditions except with keynote '09 (5.04)
I can adjust the sound, but am completely unable to move Keynote from one slide to another.
I have checked the remote with Quicktime and it works perfectly. And when I just klick "menu" Front Row starts, just as it should, but with Keynote...? No deal.
Anybody who can suggest a solution?

I have an Apple Remote and use it all the time with Keynote!
Sounds like you've got a faulty on :/ you should take it back to where you bought it from and swap it!
Sorry I couldn't offer a fix or anything :/

You need to use the fast forward/rewind buttons to advance/reverse slides in Keynote.

Thanks to both of you.
I have used it with Keynote earlier, but after som troubles with the software and som reinstalling, the remote does not respond, but only with Keynote. That's what troubles me.
