I just noticed the refurbished items have all been updated at Apple.com.

A MBA 1.6 (last gen) for $999
A MBA 1.8/SSD (last gen) for $1299

Unibody Aluminum MB for $1099 & $1299

Unibody MBP for $1799 & $2199

Those are some killer deals on the MBA! And finally Unibody MB and MBP refurbished deals! First I have seen them there anyways.

still good deal on the air though. refurb from apple is better than new from most places. get the warranty, and might even get ilife 09 if you wait until that is out

Any Mac bought from today on is eligible for a free upgrade to iLife 09. I think that covers iLife 09 if you buy now...

"Unibody Aluminum MB for $1099 & $1299"

I've seen unibody MB for $1,099 and $1,399. Are you sure you saw the 2.4 for $1,299?

Ive never seen the unibody macbook 2.4 for that cheap, there are none right now but if u see a 2.4 again for $1299 please pm me lol i would wanna buy it

Theres the
Refurbished unibody MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo for $1,699.00 Btw

What a scam. If you wait a couple weeks you can get iLife '09 for free if you buy a new Mac - why charge people who buy in the meantime for it? That leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

Dead on.

Yeah, Apple can make a little extra money that way but it's chump change for Apple compared to upping the goodwill of its fanbase.

Nope, the MBs are gone now when I just checked. Still a great deal on the Unibody MBPs. And really low price for both first gen MBAs.

Yeh but are refurbs good? like i know they work and all but at one time they were either broke or something wrong...

Also which do u think i shuld get a macbook or macbook air?

If weight and looks are important, and you can live with the limitations such as no superdrive, slower processor, no expandability get the MBA. The MB is a no compromise laptop and pretty portable but the MBA is the hands down winner in weight and looks.
