I'm having an issue with my iPhone 5's screen making a popping sound if I push on the top left side of the screen sometimes. I took my phone to the Apple Store yesterday and the rep looked inside and told me the glue was still wet that holds down the battery. He also said he pressed down on the battery and that my phone looked good.

Well, my phone was making the same popping noise again this morning. I have seen where people are calling Apple over the phone and getting a replacement phone sent out that way. Do I need to have AppleCare to get a replacement sent out if I call Apple's Customer Support or can I do this already since my phone is still under warranty? I just don't want to have to drive 45 minutes to the nearest Apple Store again if I don't have to.

Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.
