Bjango iStat Menus at 50% Black Friday.

Bjango iStat Menus at 50% Black Friday.

Nothing wrong with iStat Menus, it's a great program, but worth considering is Stats, a free, open-source clone that offers similar tracking and viewing of performance statistics in your menubar and elsewhere. Tracks all the usual things: Battery, memory, CPU, temperature, network, etc. Very nice UI (IMO).

I have no connection to its development, just a satisfied user.

Can you mark this deals posts as "US" please? By being a website using the english language you reach not only the USA.

Those hardware deals are sadly always US only. Would be nice if they also find some at least for Amazon UK, then they are also mostly in EU countries too and maybe you have to change just the link to your country. Or there might be a redirection prompt anyway.

It also sometimes works with .com links from Amazon but this Air Pod Max for example is sold out in my country.

But there are many other English speaking countries too and and will be a little complicated. This could also work for Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India with Amazon links. But it's mostly Best Buy what doesn't exist anywhere else than in the USA I think.

This is Mac Rumors dot com. The dot com top-level domain is generally associated with the U.S.

A .com domain extension is a unique web address that is associated with the country code top-level domain of the United States. This means that a website with a .com extension belongs to, and will be served from, the US Central Office for Internet Domain Names

Therefore, it should be presumed that most content here is for not just an English-language audience, but a U.S.-based one as well.

I'm glad I went for that $1,499 (US) MBP M3 Pro deal back in August/September. Hasn't been lower since.

In the EU we have deals all year around. 2024 Macbook Air M3 16GB just went from 1300€ to 1000€. Apple itself is giving gift cards atm, e.g. 175€ for the 1300€ Macbook Air M3.

@sw1tcher that it is a .com domain doesnt make it any better. Basically everything is a .com domain. My EU business uses a .com domain because it is the default for any english language website.

But if I understand you right you want British to go on a British Macrumors, Canadian on a Canadian Macrumors, Australian on a Australian Macrumors, New Zealanders on a New Zealand Macrumors and all 47 european countries go on their own countries Macrumors as well? As well as all other countries in the world that are all on the internet and all speak english because that is the language of the internet?

I think the point Rebi was trying to make was there had been no mention of any non-US deals for several days (I think there were some at some point) and he was getting a little bored reading through another article that didn't help him save any money as he isn't in US. MacRumors gets plenty of UK readers, just see the 'What hasn't my new iPhone turned up yet' posts every year so .com, .vision, .co.uk or .eu isn't an issue for anyone.

Heads up the Best Buy prices on some of the M4's are even better today by $100 (was $300 off).
  • Now $400 off
    • MacBook Pro 16-inch Apple M4 Max - 48GB Memory - 1TB SSD
    • MacBook Pro 16-inch Apple M4 Max - 36GB Memory - 1TB SSD
    • MacBook Pro 14-inch Apple M4 Max - 36GB Memory - 1TB SSD

BestBuy is also in Canada.

Absurd argument.
Please label these as US deals OP.

Nice, I just got an M4 Max with 64 GB. Of course, I expect that now that I have bought it, a new deal will be posted :D
