THE Best Free Mac Game???

What is the ultimate free game to download?

Any type of game. Good time killer.

Also my friend played this game earlier this year where the object was to build army's and defend your town or base while attacking and taking over other bases. Kind of like Risk but.. well, virtual. Any ideas what it could have been?
 
TF2 for sure. You won't find any other free game with so many players, such high quality and constant updates.
 
Wolfenstein is very similar to TF2 I heard. I personally play TF2. Wolfenstein takes place in WWII I think, so if you like that time frame more, then go ahead.
 
Team Fortress 2 by a country mile. There are other good ones but it is head and shoulders above them.
 
Got TF2! What about in the area of MMO RPG's or even just regular RPG's? Anything good there? I know theres a few out there but reviews seem to vary.

WoW is f2p up til level 20 haha.. umm LotR online I believe is F2P also... there was a ton of content in that before it went f2p so I'm sure that'll give you a good amount of game time.
 
I was gunna get savage2 but i don't have a credit card and you have to pay $10 for an account. Unless i'm missing something.
 
Savage 2 is free. You should be able to create an account with nothing but an email address.

Yes, you can pay $10 for a Prime account, but you certainly don't need to. It gets you access to two extra equipment slots; however, I played for months without it.

PM your email address to me and I'll send you a referral email. I can't recall if that gets you anything special, but it will probably take you directly to an account/download page.
 
I've made an account on the site and I logged in, but when i try and go to the download page i still get the message that says

And this gives me that list of off site DL's :confused:
