I need a laptop and that $799 for the M1 MacBook Air is pretty enticing. However, being only a week away from an Apple event, I think it‘s more prudent to wait and see. I have a feeling that Apple may discontinue the M1 Air, which is why the prices have dropped. I also think there’s a chance that M2 Airs drop to $999. I also want to see what the 15 inch Air costs.

I say this every year, but Memorial Day sales never really sat right for me. Let's just do a veterans discount, 30% off a mattress isn't really a tasteful way to honor fallen soldiers IMO

Many products have been 'on sale' more often than not (i.e. APPs), at least in the U.S.
The 'sales prices' should be the 'normal purchase price' of those items.

Good. Happy to hear that. I was going to get another MBP but I don’t really need the ponies since I use it for basically docs and web surfing. I’ll take that extra money and get a better mini or maybe even a studio
