Now that I have an Intel iMac, there are a ton of programs that I'm living without... granted they are small, but rather annoying either way.

So far I am really missing :

Detour
ClearDock
DIVX
Flip4Mac
WMV playback in Camino
Application Enhancer
Microsoft Intellitype

The problem with the xvid codec, is that it crashes FrontRow on certain Divx files :( Unfortunately a lot of these modules are not UB's, and it's terrible to be an early adopter :(

Please share other programs and various things that just won't run, that are quite annoying with being an early adopter, or post some useful programs that are UB's, such as:

Camino
FireFox (Deer Park)
Acquisition

I wish that there was a forum for Intels to discuss things like this, but so far I've seen nothing. Thanks!

Fluid (screensaver)
Path Finder (runs, but it takes up too much RAM for my liking and is a bit slow, imho)
Various PrefPanes I like...

Other than that, not too much. Rosetta generally works beautifully.

I have ordered my Core Duo Mac mini a couple of days ago, and am expecting it tomorrow.
This Mac will be my media centre (gonna hook it up to my TV), and am a bit worried that not many codecs for QT work well at the moment. On the PPC side I use Divx6, 3ivx and AC3.
Gotta be patient then.

i'm waiting for transparentdock, bytecontroller, and you control:tunes to be UB

good thing the most useful (to me) app on the Mac, Quicksilver, is UB :)

Native/UB faves:

QT codecs/plugs/alternatives: DivX for intel mac, flip4mac 2.0.1 (under rosetta), QTAmateur
