Would you like to know the secret???

with the fans at 2500 I get only 1 degree difference in the cpu with this method.

Actually I do not know,

I am thinking about patenting the idea.....:D double jerk!

Anyway, guess anyone?

My guess:

Go to HD or Lowes.

Get 3 granite tiles. Stack them up, and put your laptop on it.

but that is not the "best passive laptop cooler ever"

The wasteland will be cooling this thread soon, if you have no intention of saying what you did.... :p

the intention was there till I read that Jesus Christ wants to send me to wasteland.

What is Demi by the way? Almost? on Par? like? wannabe?

anyway. This is my last post here. If I were looking for treats, I would just go outside on the streets to look for some trouble. And the reason I was writing in this forums is to avoid those type of troubles.

Well look at the picture below:

Just get an Ispeck case, and put the bottom part upside down.

Test it yourself.

let it work for 0.5 hours and see the difference. Best results are obtained with the fans at 2500.

the macrumors of Demi-God can be found in the rules and/or the stickied thread that talks about member titles and whatnot

there was absolutely no reason for you to "hold out" on posting how you got the results.

well, unless you wanted to have us play a guessing game. Otherwise, it could be a form of trolling.

and I believe there is an umlaut in Tshuess (if there is no umlaut key handy, then adding an "e" after the vowel is also acceptable)

When it's off and you throw it in a snowdrift. :p Hopefully you don't keep the inside of your house at 0C. :D

OK Mr Moderator, i'm sorry for the inaccurate information :p however even a snowdrift wouldn't be -17 to counteract room temperature and you must take into account wind chill factor but since the Unibody MBP is rather streamlined thanks to Mr. Ive you wouldn't get much drag from the wind causing the colder air to come into contact with the body for more periods of time cooling it down quickly, personally for maximum cooling guarantees i would recommend putting it in a deep chill industrial freezer set to -17 with the battery on the Apple recommended 40% charge for long term storage to gain maximum efficiency of 0C operation.

Get a mini-fridge at home depot for $150 and leave your laptop or desktop inside for -7 degrees Celsius.

I find when I first switch on my mac it is runs even cooler, maybe that's the answer, only use your laptop for five minutes at a time.

I like to grab a 24-pack from the fridge and use it as a cooler pad while I finish it off. That way, by the time I finish it and render it useless to my laptop, I don't care one bit
