There was a great article on yahoo showing how Amazon didn’t actually give any discounts on items. They raised the prices the week before and then dropped them down to normal and took at most 5% off even items claiming to be 1/2 off.

No thanks Amazon
That doesn't mean there aren't any good deals though.

Just snagged myself a CalDigit TS4 dock for $320. It has always been $400 ever since I've had my eye on it earlier this year, so that's a 20% savings.
