mexico
first of all:

it comes factory unlocked
no yelloish tint on the screen whatsoever, same as old iPhone 4 (this means maybe future US or worldwide models should have no more issues with the yellow screens I presume)
I didn't even try to activate siri or anything, it was already working fine
in a middle of a siri outtage... siri does work
activated in less than 20 seconds

 :D

bro story cool  i know

You're suggesting your Siri is somehow better or different? :)

I'm pretty sure Siri runs off the same server (or same bunches of servers) for every single iPhone, so it wouldn't matter if it was Mexican, English or Icelandic.

No, a burrito and some guy with a cheesy mustache named Julio Gomez to mow your lawn.
Really, its a deal if you think about it.

Live in Mexico, and only the ones from Apple.com come unlocked. I just received mine yesterday. If you buy it everywhere else, they are locked (my wife bought a Telcel wife, and yes, it is locked).

I bought it online so it's factory unlocked... it didn't come with tacos that's a low blow apple!

I know siri uses the same servers I just can't explain why it has always worked... and never even tried to activate anything

just thought i'd share and sound like an ******* oh well... by the way I presume future 4S iPhones won't have yelloish screens

I received my unlocked one yesteday after preordering on the 21st. When did you received yous?

Got mine on launch day in US no yellowish screen here bro

Same. And so did a lot of people.

And I don't know what the Siri thing is about... mine worked fine out of the box and the only "activating" I've seen necessary is turning her on in settings.

What's your point ? More to the point why post a pointless thread ?

My phone is factory unlocked. It doesn't have any yellowish tinge. Siri works just fine. I'm in the UK. You make it sound like all those issues only affect phones outside Mexico. I've got news for you. There are phones with issues everywhere including Mexico. Not to mention it's silly posting a thread just to brag your phone doesn't suffer from those issues because you bought it in Mexico.

How much they cost in Mexico?

Way too much.
Even more than a unlock one anywhere else.

Does Siri understand Mexican Spanish?
A Chilango version would be fun.

I don't care I did it anyway and I'd probably do it again when the iPhone 5 goes on sale...
