THE BLAST is now on the App Store

The Blast is a FREE iPhone application that allows you to easily find the best apps for your iPhone and iPod Touch. Every day, we send out a blast to all of our users to notify them that a new high quality must-have application for their iPhone (or iPod Touch) is being featured.

With over 470,000 apps in the app store, finding the best apps is often difficult and time consuming. The Blast is a passive yet interesting way to discover new apps.

How do you decide what apps are "high quality must-have application"s? Do you get endorsed by companies wanting to promote their apps, or do you have a panel of testers that try out apps and promote the ones they like, or how does it work?

Yeah, we test a lot of applications and only promote the ones that we think are the best. We spend a lot of time reading blogs, looking through the app store and people also send in their apps from time to time.

The main idea is that we want to help the small 'indie' developer which might not have enough marketing power to reach the top25 or top50.
