The other day I went to the Bristol Renaissance Faire, I made a short little montage of some footage I shot. All shot on the DVX100B handheld, with no color correction. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

excellent quality! i can only imagine what the full res footage looks like!

great choice of scenes..just long enough to show the part and peak the interest to keep going...perfect music. you framed in well in many parts...excellent.

the only thing i would have done differently (and this is purely a personal thing and a suggestion, not a critique), is that I would chosen a few scenes (like the joust and battle scenes) and slow-mo'd them down a bit..maybe 60 or 40%. that would just give it a little bit more of an emotional impact for those areas.

As for the slow motion, I agree with your comment, the slow-mo would have added to the mood. However due to the limitations of the framerate I shot at (24p), it would be very choppy in slow motion. I guess I should have shot some 60i while I was there.
