iPod touch The camera and the Mic

I don't understand why ppl are sure to expect a camera but are not sure about the mic. How could it have a camera WITHOUT a mic ? Silent movies aren't very popular anymore..

For me its 100% sure for the cam+mic

GPS plus compass would wet my pans...

I don't disagree with you at all!, why does the ipod touch have a voice memos app? and why not just put a video cam? nothing really complicated like rocket science.

It's all about the geo-tags on the photos and the crappy wi-fi triangulation just won't do.

Just because there is a camera doesnt automatically mean there will be video. Apple could restrict the camera to still photo only purposely leaving out the need for a mic.

oh, did not know that the iPhone 3G could not records movies. It means it needs a faster chipset like the iPod would need too.

The current 3GS Iphone does video, the new Ipod Touch will do video as well when announced on 9/9/9.
