The contents of the 'Network' volume, no comprende

When I click 'Network' in the sidebar. I'll get the following

Library ( a blank alias file)
WindowsWorkgroup
My Network
Servers (alias)

The WindowsWorkgroup folder, contains windows computer on my network. And I assume Servers contains all the Mac computers on the network, including my own. But what exactly is the "My Network" folder for? and the library alias file?
