I thought I would have a problem with this when I first heard...I really don't...the center of the screen is MUCH more interesting...
 
I actually like it better, to be honest. Part of it was because when I inverted my screen (cmd-alt-ctrl-8), there was a white edge peeking out from under my cool black menu bar. :) In addition, though, is the fact that even though it's a tiny thing, it makes me feel like my screen is just a little bit fuller, and that no pixel on my monitor is being wasted. It also makes the top and bottoms of the screen symmetrical.

. . . or maybe I'm overanalyzing. ;) But I really do appreciate the little details . . .

The title of this thread... you've gotta be kidding me! But I suppose this would make an acceptable parody topic. :rolleyes:

Anyway, I'm sure we'll be able to reclaim the rounded menubars once third-party GUI customization apps roll in with Leopard.
