The Cowboys released T.O. - Your thoughts?

Did you see that? The Cowboys released T.O.

I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan, and I'm shocked.

What do you think about this... :confused:
 
Surprised? No. Terrell Owens has a known history of causing problems in the locker room and on the sidelines with his gigantic ego (you do remember his clash with the Eagles management from a few years ago?).

Football is a business.

TO is a jackass.

He'll be signed elsewhere within 2 weeks.
 
Raiders/Redskins will sign him..there will not be a strong market for him.

He is a good player, but is also good at being a distraction, and obviously has not changed if you witnessed how the cowboys melted down as a team towards the end of the season. I've watched him with the Niners + Eagles pulling the same crap.

This is my hope (the Redskins would sign him).
 
I'm a die hard redskins fan and would hate it if T.O was signed by them.
He is a good player. And we do need some better recievers; but by would just drive down the redskins franchise.
 
I think he's gunna go to NE. Why else did we just trade Cassel? To free up money for TO to start alongside Moss. Epic duo!

The Pats need help on the defensive side of the ball. Putting up points isn't a problem for them. Preventing the opponent from putting up more has been. Not to mention the way the Pat's offense spreads the ball around,TO wouldn't get nearly enough looks to keep him quiet/happy..
The Bengals signing Coles could spell the end of the Ocho Stinko era in Cinci. That could be another spot for him...
 
nobody will sign TO......he is gona have to go to tv or somthin......just needs some vocal lessons and a good teeth whitening and he will be great on tv...
 
The Pats got rid of Cassel not for TO but because they could not afford 2 QB's

Mmmmm, both good points. Luckily, I was kidding.

Still, it would be pretty sweet to see them lined up opposite one another, with Brady behind center!
 
I am glad. Now hopefully my 'Boys' will do a little better this year. :D

T.O. = Cancer, has been every where he goes. Good ridence.

Me too.. I hope he doesn't sign in our division! Phily is out, Washington or NY..... NY has an opening with Plex having some legal trouble.

I understand, but I am tired of their season being doomed from the start. :( I just want to stop being questioned why I root for the underdog!
 
TO only really becomes a cancer after the first year, if you look at his history. If a team gives him a 1 year contract (I imagine that's the only contract he's going to get at this point), then I think he's a good acquisition. Right now, his main options are Raiders/Redskins/Vikings, and as a Skins fan, I don't think bringing in TO for a year is such a bad thing.

Brady, Moss, Welker, Owens.. that could be the most ridiculous passing offense ever. I highly doubt it will ever happen though.

Redskins

Saints

i think it's great teams are finally sticking up for themselves and not letting the cancers affect their team any longer.

ie. sean avery of the dallas stars - teammates didn't like the guy, he was an idiot on the ice and i've heard close stories that he's just like that off the ice

TO - the guy is a great receiver, but an egomaniac. I know there's a fine line for pro athletes to believe they are the best b/c they have to perform at the best level, but when it affects every team he's been on and then stunts during mini-camp and off-season, that proves to be much.

As a raider fan, i'm not surprised he's rumoured to be going there, but given the personnel changes on the raiders the last few years, he probably belongs there.

Former Dallas wide receiver Terrell Owens took less than 48 hours to find a new job when he signed a one-year, $6.5 million contract with Buffalo on Saturday, a source close to Owens said.
The Bills have called for a press conference on Saturday and are expected to announce Owens' deal.

The Bills? Who saw that coming..

He will help them for sure though, Trent Edwards at QB, Marshawn Lynch at RB, and now Lee Evans will pair up with T.O.. Hope the best for them and that T.O. doesn't tarnish his legacy more then he already has.
