The cpu speed...?

Hi, does anyone know if the cpu speed of a macbook pluged into a socket differ from the one working on battery? Coz I had a toshiba and when on battery it ran at 1.8 and, when pluged in at 2.1

I you open the system profiler it should tell you. On my PBG4 500, it used to go to 300 MHz on battery "reduced" speed.

It'll always run at full speed, Whether that be battery and external power, battery only, or external power only (you've pulled the battery out).
