In Safari, often i will be doing anything (maybe clicking a link for example) and my cursor will suddenly jump, usually to the top right od the screen. This seems to be a software thing, rather than my mouse per se. has anyone else found this, or know how to reslove it? Thanks :)

That happens to me too. I didn't identify that it was only in safari, but I've gotten so used to it that I don't even notice it anymore.

Is your mouse an optical? If it is, then I suspect you've got an over reflective mousepad. This can cause the mouse to jump around the screen sometimes. Try using a piece of graph paper or something similar as a mouse pad for a while and see if that changes things.

thanks, and as the other guy said, whilst it isn't very annoying it would be nice to sort. I'll give the paper trick a try, as it is a nasty wood veneer surface at the mo. yup, its an optical mouse
