The Daily app in the UK - since when?

Just saw that The Daily became available on the UK iTunes store. Since when was this? I looked for it a few weeks ago and it was only available in the US. The free trial also works.

I have been waiting for this for awhile now. However, I see no point as it is the US version. Good for ex pats maybe. I won't bother until they have UK content.
