the disappearance of the unified inbox... [RESOLVED]

this is a new one for me, i've never had this happen before.

i went to check my email (Mail.app, 2 pop accounts), and the 'All Inboxes' unified folder is gone. the separate inboxes are there in their respective accounts, so i was able to add each one to favorites; at least it's functional. but is there a way to bring back the unified inbox?

I don't remember adding any of them in my favorites, it has always been like that I think... but it seems like my screenshot represents your solution.

right, but that's what's disappeared; the parent (unified) inbox. it's always been there, but when i went to check mail tonite, it wasn't (this is in favorites).

trying to figure out how to restore that...

EDIT: and fixed (it appeared as an option in 'add mailbox' after a safe reboot, then another reboot....)
