Slow slow slow.
Tedious to navigate.
Slow slow slow.
Terrible categorisation & searching.
Slow slow slow.

I hate it so much :(

It's laggy & it freezes and it's impossible to discover new apps. Apple should either improve it or bring back the old one :/

Terrible app... on the ipod Touch 4g it's extremely slow and crashes everytime when I search and returns a lot of results

One of my biggest gripes with the App Store (iOS) is the mislabeling of the "Genius" section; it's quite obviously the "Idiot" section.

Examples of its idiocy include, but certainly aren't limited to, recommending the following:

  • A speak-to-text app based on the UPS Mobile app
  • A foreign (language & location) realty app based on a webcam streaming app that I deleted from my phone probably a year ago
  • A virtual pottery making app (!?!) based on the Daily Show app
And it seems to choose only 3 or 4 apps that I've had at any point in the past 4+ years and then gives me 2 or 3 recommendations for each of those apps. Pathetic.

I have to agree that the new App Store is poorly designed. I find myself using it less with the new design. It just doesn't give me a warm inviting feeling like the previous version.

It's not slow on my iPhone 5 but the vertical scrolling to find an app through thousands of search results is annoying when you can only go one app at a time. Who thinks of this?

The iOS6 has forced me into *gasp* iTunes for anything other than searching for a specific app.

Chomp wasn't this way.

Genius definitely sucks, but it's always sucked. I don't feel that the other parts of the apps are that bad.

I do like just being able to tap a little arrow to see "What's New" in updates. Rather then clicking on the app and waiting for a new page to display "What's New".

The side scrolling is a little weird. I never really liked side scrolling anywhere in general, even on the iTunes application on my laptop. I'm sure application designers love it. (Looks nice, but really isn't functionally worse then scrolling vertically.

I haven't had issues with speed on my iPhone 4S

It's the weirdest thing.
App Store on my iPhone 4S = fine
App Store on my iPad 3 = slow and always crashes.
I mean, wtf.

Does anyone else find it weird that there is no search tab on the iPad App Store? If you happen to be on the update screen, the search bar goes away. Nothing takes its place. I found that weird and it can be confusing to an elderly or someone not good with tech.
