Is it just me, or does the "corrugated" dock look different on the iPhone now? I can't put my finger on it, but it looks "crisper" than it used to.

Also, notice on Apple's website, the iPod touch is now sporting the "corrugated" dock like the iPhone, not the "glassy" one from before.

Yeah you may be right, it does appear to be different.
 
hrm, didn't notice that. Maybe it's just my tired eyes from all day of reading apple news! who knows
 
it is different, now that you mention it. there's a gray bar along the bottom where the labels for the applications are - i don't think that was there before.

And I think there is a small strip on both sides at the edges that is solid... Where the holes don't go all the way to the edge.
