I'll go first.

Has anyone tried the Griffin PowerDock 2 Charging Base with the 3G? I understand I may need to get the 3G universal adapter pack.

It does not come with an adapter for the iPhone 3G in the box, maybe Griffin will add one. When I find out the definitive answer I will post it here.
