What's your dream computer set up?
* (Within reason and within reach of today's technology).

Already have your dream set up, photo's welcome!

I'm getting very near my dream set up, it consists of:

Mac Pro w/ ACD - office
15" MBP - home office / den
13" MBP - travel (used to be a MBA)
iPad 3G

I had mine once - but sold it to get my business off the ground (now saving hard to get it back).

But this is it:

iPad 3G 32GB ~ for the car
iMac 27 i5 8GB + 2nd LCD Screen ~ for my 'office' (ok bedroom)
Mac Mini 4GB 2.26 ~ for the lounge (on the TV)
FW800 2x2TB RE4GP Drives (JBOD) ~ hooked up to the mac mini as backups
FW800 2x2TB RE4GP Drives RAID1 ~ on the iMac (for work and TC)
Adobe CS5 Design Premium (Student ed) on the iMac (I have everything else)

That would suit me perfect

(Used to use a Mac Pro 2008, 8x2.8 18GB 30" LCD 4xSAS + NAS Box with 3TB RAID5 and a mac mini coreDuo on the TV with a 13" MBP for mobility)

Currently on the Powermac G4 (and the two PC's I am selling to help fund the iMac).

I think I'm pretty much there with what I've got in my signature. It would be nice to get a bigger ACD when those become available. But I'm pretty happy here.

-Maxed out Macbook Pro, either 13 or 15".
-Insanely high-end home built PC. Only I'm not sure what the best of the best is these days! Last time it was a 4870x2, so I should get back into it :D. Single display, Apple keyboard, Razer mouse, iPod touch (next gen one).

Apple damn well better make black ones again)
Yes, seriously Apple.

My dream setup:
- Mac Pro with triple >=24" monitors on a nice mounting system, this will handle my heavy lifting
- Mac Mini as a media station
- 15" Macbook Pro, i7 for on-the-go power
- as lee said, a black Macbook with current tech standards for classes, presentations, travel, etc.
