It seems that many first hand reports indicate that the new thinner design and square edges make the new iPhone feel very good in the hand and less "slippery" than previous models.

I also happen to prefer the aesthetic of the actual iPhone 4 design. Reminds me of a Bodum, Braun, Leica product...
 
I think your design messes up the integrity of the new iPhones design. Who knows I'm sure it is like that for a reason, namely getting the antenna precise
 
i like yours but i think it just seems too big...like kinda bloated you know?
Well they are trying to trick your eye by showing it in front of a black background so only the steel frame stands out, which is thinner than the actual phone itself.
