The fist *stable* version of Tominated Browser!

It seems to be coming along nicely. I'm even writing this reply in it, so you are definitely getting somewhere :)

About the source tree, you may want to rearrange things so that others can build it. All the .png files are hard-coded to /Volumes/TOM'S USB/tominated browser/ and so they're missing from the .zip, as is the PolishedWindow stuff hiding in your ../downloads/TunesWindow

true, i'll fix that up now

It looks very nice and works weel as far as I can see. The only real issue is that I think you need to contrast you buttons a bit more. It is hard to tell at a glance what each one does.

Great work, can't wait to see the next few versions.
 
it's nice to have a bare bones browser, it's a pretty quick little renderer. and i like the big progress bar at the top.

what direction are you thinking of going with it? more features, but slower or faster with less features? i recommend the latter.

i am going to try and keep it speedy, but with a few cool features, maybe even things like del.icio.us intergration
 
Nice work Tominated...nice barebones browser, and quite fast as well. Looking forward to seeing how this browser progresses.
 
Fast as f***! Seriously that is fast but personally I don't like the top heavy grey look to the windows. Great effort, good luck.
 
I really love that. With more features, I might switch to this permanently if you can keep up the speed.:D

BTW, I remember the first working version, with the big T...:p
 
Well, that didn't work so well. It downloads a DMG file that it reports as unrecognizable. Hmm. I guess we'll have to wait for the issue with the original link to get fixed.
 
Oh its so very fast! It actually feels faster than *any* other browser I have used. Ever. Congrats. I'd use this regularly if you got the features of Safari, but kept the speed. Oh, and a better skin. :D
 
I'd probably try using it a bit more but I'm a junkie for Tabbed browsing, and I cannot function without Command-[ for back and Command-] for forward. Give me those shortcuts and I might be able to get beyond the no tabs issue.
 
sorry it didn't work for a while. i was stupid and pointed macupdate to the zip file on the web server that i use, now most my bandwidth is gone, it took a while to uplad it back on to macupdate
