Today, I released my widget known as the FML Widget available for download at http://www.fmlwidget.co.cc

It is a simple widget that will display FML's from fmylife.com the widget is in it's early early beta stages, so no special bells or anything, but I will be adding features very quickly, I have a whole lot of information on my website listed above. The widget runs on a Dazzle Framework which will notify you of any updates to the widget so you won't be left in the dark :).

Please feedback!
 
The site was funny until my girlfriend started saying "f*ck my life" about stuff that happens to her or us. I take it personally because we have a daughter and aren't doing very well right now financially.

I think people should stop and think before they blurt out FML. Because thats saying a lot.
 
Only thing that I can see changing right now is the Goto button is hard to read. The gradient/two-tone in the back is the main cause.

heh I this whole this whole thing is a project for me, I have no coding experience, I am just trying to "go with it" and explore.

I understand you, I hate it when people use it sparingly, kinda like how the "thats what she said" jokes are being worn out stupidly, FML is becoming to much of a general term :(

I will look into that, I agree, you see this is a really really rough draft, I am just trying to touch bases and get a solid "foundation" for what I want to do. I never really bothered to change it, but now that you mention it, expect it xD
 
Alrighty, so I took in the suggestions and I am working on them as hard as I can, but I decided just to put out an update to keep things interesting (lol).

No bug fixes that i know of, no added features, just enhanced UI. It's all ready but won't be publishing till tomorrow when I have a peace of mind so I don't make any mistakes (for all your haxors, if you dig into the widget files you would be able to get the update it yourself :p)
 
So this is my first proper interaction with FML, and it's awesome, I never found my self bothered enough to go to the website, the widget however, awesome, good job man, looks nice.

Haha thanks, glad you like it.

I find that ironic because I don't even like the widget my self, but i guess others do! I will still keep up with making it better and more useful.
 
Is the widget working OK for everyone? It seems to not load the FMLs for me, but it does fine when in the dashboard simulator.
