the free download for Lion if you just got a mac

Bought a mac about a month ago, so I qualify for the free update, but when i go onto the Lion upgrade form, where you put your serial number in etc, it is asking for American details, such as state and zip code etc..
Anyone not from the US managed to get around this?

you need to go to your version of the apple website first.

the apple.com version is US only.
