Ok ive searched and have not nailed down what this noise is that comes from up front maybe left side, not sure. It sounds like a little tink or ping noise that is not very loud but noticable. Does anybody know exactly what the hell im referring to? And is it somethng to be concerned about?

front means close to screen or close to mousepad?

Theres lots of noises that come from computers, processor sounds like clicking, hard drive spinning sometimes rapid clicking, ram sounds like running water/clicking.

Could it be the hard drive motion sensor pulling the head off the drive? Mine does it quite a bit and is very similar to the sound you just said. If it does it when you move it than that's what it could be. Other than that no clue.

Running Water:eek: I think you need to have that looked at! just don't tell me it sounds like a toilet flushing:D

It could be the hard drive sometimes I hear them wine, My Older Dell sounded like a freight train going by most days.

It is either the HDD, or the Fans, or the CPU :D
no but really, bottom right woosh noise is HDD, left side high pitch is CPU and top middle of the keyboard is low humm from fans..
It's gotta be one of these.

It's either the HDD or the Fan...where's the sound coming from?

Its hard to nail down exactly where it comes from because its a pretty weak little sound. If it is coming from the HDD is that concerning?
