How do you envisage computer gaming will evolve?
A headset was recently announced where thought alone would control actions on a monitor, also a phone will be available later this year that doesn't require you to talk.
Many of these technologies have come about from work with quadriplegics and allowing them to use alternative facilities to operate every day items like turning on a light bulb via thought alone.
I suspect the gaming industry has some interest in closing the physical gap between the console/monitor and gamer and I wonder how long before external imagery can be connected to the optic nerve so we only see when we close our eyes.
Anyone care to speculate?
