Planet Earth (?)
I'm asking this not only because of personal interest, but because I also have a piece of work to do, not a big one at that, based on what the future of computers will be like.

Based on what I've seen, and experienced, I do think that along the line, personal computers as we know them won't be around any more. Maybe the work space will be their last territory of life, but slowly personal computers will be replaced with tablets. Of course, right now they don't have the same power as an actual computer, but they're growing, and allowing to do most of the things people do with their personal computers in the first place. Making them bigger won't be necessary either. Only need for space will be battery and other main parts, but any piece involving storage space will be removed with the growth of cloud saving. So the portable aspect will be ticked off and be a huge advantage over actual laptops. It's clear that portability is a great factor, less people have computers, more have laptops, less people want bulky laptops, more people want thin light laptops, less people will want thin light laptops, more people will want extremely thin and portable laptops.

As long as the same necessities are fulfilled, then all is good.
So, in the years to come, as difficult as it may to be imagine if you have grown up using a laptop or computer, it seems likely to be that tablets will be the way to go, and will be the "normal" thing to have, not just an extra commodity of a device.

What do you guys think?
Any more ideas on the future of computers?
