The future of our App Icons

Hi all,

I'm excited about iOS 7 and the potential September 10th launch! I'm sure you all are too!

I wanted to start a discussion on what the future holds for iOS and it's iconic-icons.

Will app makers catch on and update their apps to have flatter and matching icons?

I sure hope so! You?

A lot of apps already have flat icons and some even the UI that matches the new design nicely. Some aaps like Youtube, Dropbox, Pocket, Facebook and many others have flat icons.
What I want to see is the actual UI of more apps change to a more flat design like Youtube and Pocket.

I really really hope Whatsapp gets updated ASAP because that's my most used app. I have FlatIcons UI on and it themes the app and after seeing pictures of stock whatsapp I was like damnn didnt remember it was that ugly? And the icon better go flat too when it gets updated for iOS7.
