You've heard of The Gates in Central Park, NYC by Christo and Jeanna-Claude (http://www.christojeanneclaude.net/tg.html)?

Well, now there's "The Gates, Bill" for the convenience of your own home. Collapses down into a convenient 6"x6"x1" size for throwing in your back pack. No heavy construction equipment needed for erecting it. Took only 1 week to construct vs.20 something years for Christo's version. Only 1 person (me) was involved in the construction. No volunteers were needed, unless you count Billy Boy whose photo was nabbed. Costs were less than $10 vs. more than $20 million. Can't quite accomodate as many tourists as Christo's version, but everyone can own their own!

And when you get sick of looking at senor Gates smug mug, you can flip it aroud and just see his silhouette, which is slightly less facetious. ;)

Enjoy!

Hilarious :) The NY Times also covered a similar project, a guy made a miniature version for $3 as an act of sarcasm, but yours is more clever...

Nice job, ephramz. It's very clever and innovative. Just goes to show that art doesn't have to cost a lot.

You should consider entering that for the Turner prize, I'm sure it will give the other contenders a run for their money :D
