What is the best GRE general test study guide in your opinion? I was looking at getting the Kaplan GRE Exam 2010-2011 Premier W/ CD along with the Kaplan GRE Exam Vocabulary in a Box.

Any other suggestions? I'm just wanting to do well so I can help out my somewhat decent gpa (above 3.0 but below 3.25 though lol) to get into a great Graduate History program.

I liked the Princeton Review GRE study guide.

Like you, I am applying for history graduate programs. I don't know what programs you've looked at, but most of the ones I applied for want a good verbal and writing score, and don't care at all about the quantitative score. In addition to the Princeton Review study book, I also picked up the Kaplan vocabulary cards . I ended up doing pretty well on the GRE, or well enough to meet the requirements of all of the programs I am applying for.
