Yeah. Than a week after receiving it you look back and think "why did I kick up such a fuss?"
Not that Apple watch isn't s great product of course.

Yeah. I go through this every time I get a new iPhone or iPad. Get super excited waiting for it. Then I get it and have fun setting it all up and stuff. Then I realize that what I purchased isn't very different than the old version it replaced....

At least this is a totally new thing. So there's that.

I always hope that Apple is secretly fixing an issue I won't have to deal with because they will fix it and then ship but that's just me.

Don't we have at least 5 days before anyone knows if it is shipping late?

Mine isn't shipping until June. I'd say that's fairly late. Even if it moves up thats still far from launch. Maybe you're right, maybe I'll get a shipping notification in 5 days.

Hey didn't you see the article the first page that says the stores are offering classes to teach you how to use the watch and the classes start on the 24th and in the article it says that they are starting on that date because many people will receive their preorders on the 24th.

That's actually not what it says at all.

So I'm going to go out on a limb and say that most people who get their devices on the 24th are Apple die hard fans who preordered as soon as you could. If think most of them would want to play with it on their own vs having an Apple Store employee show them in a class! Then they'd make all the other customers who want to buy one in store feel bad LOL.

Then again, maybe they WILL have limited stock in store...

I preordered my watch, and got in on the first time frame. My comment earlier meant that the stores are offering classes for those that receive their watch(es) on the 24th. If people want to take classes. I never have, and I have had every version of the iPhone and computers and tablets.

If it said June when you placed your order and still says June AND you get it in June, IT IS NOT LATE.

There is a difference between "later than you want it" and "later than promised".

It is not LATE unless it is "later than promised".

In select stores at some locations . . . . not where I live or any store within a 50 mile range

Yes exactly!

Not really. A train that is due at 12 but arrives at 12:10 is LATE.
If a train is due at 12 and arrives at 12 BUT YOU arrive at 12:10 then YOU are late.

Apple was not late, you were.

Yes really. You're focusing on the definition that is "doing something or taking place after the expected, proper, or usual time." Very narrow minded.
