It doesn't seem as sketchy as I initially thought http://www.cultofmac.com/158673/the-os-x-hackstore-aims-to-bring-the-cydia-experience-to-the-mac-exclusive/, but I don't see how it's much different from a site like MacUpdate. And it definitely needs a better name.

Bodega already went there; it has a nice interface and keeps track of updates, which is pretty cool, even though most applications do that internally now. But it doesn't have some of the Mac standards, like LaunchBar. MacUpDate is still probably the best single source of software; the Mac App Store is still hoping it can catch up.
