The Hip-Hop Thread of 2010

Next month or so is going to start a ridiculous time for hip-hop that looks promising:
B.o.B – Adventures of Bobby Ray (April 27)
Drake – Thank Me Later (June 15)
Eminem – Recovery (June 22)
Kanye West – Good Ass Job (June)
T.I. – King Uncaged (August 24)
Chiddy Bang – (Unknown) (August 2010)

In addition, rumor has it that Jay-Z and Dr. Dre will perform their new single off Detox, "Under Pressure" at Coachella. Personally, I'm hoping for samples of the Queen song - and I'm the furthest thing from a Queen thing.

I went to see Mos Def perform at Shepherds Bush (London) a couple of days ago.

He was o.k. He mostly played The Ecstatic, which is a great album (my no.1 rap album of 2009) but if Hip-Hop Headz come out on a tuesday night they wanna hear some of that old school boom-bap

2010 is going to be a great year. Too Bad i'm only looking forward to mostly kanye ,drake,Cudi,Chiddy,the roots, and b.o.b among others.

Has anyone else listened to Air Swell yet?

been waiting for the drake solo for a while. I'm glad b.o.b. has finally blown up with the nothin' on you single, his other stuff is good too.

detox is ridiculous. my friends and i have been waiting for years. anything less than a masterpiece will not meet expectations.

I went and saw B.o.B and Lupe Fiasco perform last Tuesday night.

It was amazing. Their new songs are pretty amazing, as well as just the fact of seeing them live.

"Front row seats".

I'm looking forward to Lupe's LASERS, and B.o.B's new album. As well as the Eminem and T.I albums
