The holiday season and iPhones

By this November my current phone will be paid off a year early. This is when I am planning on possibly buying a 32 gb 5s. Hopefully in gold. Silver is my second choice. I'm reading about the current shortages of certain models. Based on previous holiday seasons, have there been similar shortages during that time of year?

You should be good by November. That's the estimate that most carriers are giving for when stock will finally be plentiful enough to walk into a store and buy whichever color/size you want.

Thanks for replying. Just not interested in any of the craziness that is going on right now. Hoping to avoid a repeat of it later this year.
