The home button....

So unless I missed it, they didnt really show an in depth look at the home button and just stated that it is 'fixed' so to speak.

Is it flush with the device? What does it look like compared to current gen phones?

I think it will look exactly like the current, but you cannot press it. It's just fixed. Probably won't make a big difference. If you have tried the new MacBooks it feels really great.
