I was just curious if anyone heard if those thousands of people that were lined up at the Apple Flagship store in NY all got phones? After seeing the videos of the line literally being many blocks long, I could not help but wonder if the store really had that many phones or if many went away disappointed.

I called AppleCare last night because I need a replacement 64GB iPhone 6 White/Silver since my current one has a black speck underneath the screen and she said that my nearest store (5th Avenue flagship) was all out of that one, so I assume that there definitely could have been some people who walked away without one.

I thought that might be the case. I am sure that store must have received a good stock, but I could not imagine that they received thousands of phones. That would sure be frustrating to wait in a line like that, only to be told....
