Mine shows "Prepared for Shipment" with a delivery date of the 10th or 11th.

The 13" Macbook Pros already have a thread about ship dates, I didn't see why the 15" shouldn't either.
i have low patience on this because this is my first time buying mac, and when i went to order earlier today it told be they were unable to verifying the info on one of the 2 cards i used. didnt say which one.... didnt say what specifically was wrong.

Mike, i really don't know why you care. i dig your act on this site and maybe pointing out these kinds of things entertains you but if it really bothers you just ignore them. maybe just ease off them a little bit.
It just seems like this is a thread where what is posted could be said to your friend or what ever. Like "hey im gettin a new mac isnt that sweet?" Seems like it should be in a chat room or something. And if you want a time frame on shipping use that useless google thing and get a rough idea. Im surprised this site doesnt have one of those god aweful meebo rooms(cold chills and slight nausea when thinking about that)
I ordered the 2.8Ghz model but "downgraded" from the 500GB 5400 RPM HD to the 7200 RPM 320GB. It was cheaper and faster and I haven't even begun to fill the 250GB drive in my current machine.

true, but i think that is why they like using the forum. kind of a way of feeling cool about what they got cause maybe their friends dont give a hoot. it's nice to hear from actual people sometimes then just looking up everything up on a search engine. i like to use the self checkout lane at the supermarket but every once and a while i will go through the lane with an actual person on it just for the interaction. that's me tho.
Interaction is overrated lol. (psych major.....so not true) Im probably bitter to the whole deal because i work at a home improvement retailer. So having to deal with people all day. Im overstimulated i suppose. God bless self check out(why do they always put the injured, oldest, or slowest person in the express check out lane?)
haha i feel for you. i worked retail at a Best Buy eventually became a manager, but those days as a salesman drove me insane. The self checkout is definitely a godsend. sometimes tho, when im in a good mood, i will go thru the slow old lady checkout just for a good laugh.

Bestbuy? Hope you repented for working there. The associates in there are useless to me, i usually know more than they do. I will try to stay dignified and not talk about the cust. service there.
oh believe me i know what you are talking about. but in my case i was hired in the Magnolia as a specialist. i did install for years before that and knew everything about home theater product. i like to think my knowledge was above any customer i dealt with. but yea best buy is a pretty crappy place to shop and esp to work. my way of getting back at them was collecting $15,000 in unemployment and filing cases against the store and the district manager resulting in some dismals. they were just awful there.
