Are we sure that the shadow of the number 5 in the picture refers to the iPhone 5. I mean, we don't know for sure that the new iPhone will be called
"iPhone 5". (I personally think it might be called iPhone 6)

So, what about the i5. I mean it sounds like "high five", and looks like the word "is".

This is NOT a troll. Just an idea.

it most definitely means iphone 5... especially with the artwork outside one of the buildings.

Seriously OP... This has been done to death

What will this new thread resolve that all of the others didnt

Well I don't mean to solve it. Just wanted people to see my idea in case I'm right. I know that's 99% improbable, but just in case, you know.

Sorry if you've seen this sort of post before. I can see how that would be annoying.

What does the artwork on the building have to do with the name of the phone?

well it confirms an iphone is coming out, and what else would the 5 mean? People are really stretching their imagination thinking it means anything else.

Yeah but wasn't saying there won't be a new iPhone, I mean there obviously will be. What I was saying was that the "5" might not refer to this.

It's not so much of a stretch to say that the 5 just means its the 5th anniversary of iPhone. And then the name is just "the new" iPhone.

Yeah exactly, in fact I hadn't thought of the anniversary aspect. I suppose it could actually mean that.

very true, and I think they will eventually go that route. They may even call it the 5 and the new iphone.
