The iMovie autosave function does not work

iMovie does not longer save changes automatically. Another problem: If I edit one project and open another thereafter, I can see the new project footages in the project window, but when I play the movie, the first one still shows in the video window on right side.

I´ve tried to delite iMovie program file and reinstallet from iLife 09 CD. It doesn´t solve the problem. What can I do?
