The iPad charger

Since the iPad charger has a rating of 2.1amps at 5volts. Does this mean that it can be used to charge virtually any device that uses a USB?

Can you share what other gadgets you used the iPad charger to charge?

I've used it to charge my portable speakers and the shuffle. Works great.

When I travel I only carry my iPad cube. I use it for my phone (Samsung Focus) my kindle and my husband uses it for his phone. It works on everything.
