I’m sitting here typing this on my 11 Pro Max. Having played with my GF’s purple 11, I have to stay that in real use, there is no difference between these phones. The 11 has the same RAM, processor, more or less the same camera, same fast Face ID, a big screen for video and content, and runs exactly the same. For the price, the 11 is a better buy, especially given most people who are buying the Max are really starting at $1249 (very few are getting 64G). I recommend that everyone that feels “ripped off” with the Pro or Pro Max (especially those coming from 6/7/8 series) return their phones and get an 11. It’s a legitimately great product. I am seriously considering returning my 11 Pro Max and getting the 11 in black or white.

That telephoto lens though, will come handy for macro shot. If you’re into iPhone photography that is.

maybe -

1) But both the normal and ultra wide camera are the same on the 11 and the Pro, and both are improved from the XS
2) By far the biggest improvement in this year’s phone is Night Mode - which is again available on the 11

The 11 is a great phone, but I still ultimately prefer the Pro. I like the screen, the materials, and the camera better. I’m going from the XS Max to the 5.8. Everyone is different and values different things, make the choice that works for you.
