If you think about it, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 14 share the same sensor and the same ISP, but the iPhone 14 gets the new Photonic Engine Processing Pipeline which could be easily bought to the iPhone 13 Pro, and not just that, even 4K cinematic mode would be easy to bring, it's just new software over existing hardware, i feel that action mode relies on the hardware but the other features could be easily brought over, what do you think, maybe next year with iOS 17, since apple usually unifies iOS Builds with a bunch of devices, like how the iPhone XS and iPhone 11 Pro have the same build or even the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro have the same build

Fully agree, I'm curios what is Apple's explaination on this, because it seems to me it's purely a software limitation
