The iPhone 4 has a better battery than 4S?

I compared the battery life on both the new iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 side by side and apparently the iPhone 4 has better battery life in more areas.

4S probably has the same battery as the 4 (1420 mAh) but the power consumption has likely increased.

Saw that too... it has 1 more hour 3G talk time but 100 (!!) less standby hours and 1 hour less WiFi time.

Looks like 1 hour less wifi browsing, and 100 less hours in standby.

I'm really surprised that with the same design the battery isn't much longer lasting. Does the A5 use that much more power?

I find this really annoying. Why couldn't apple fit a bigger battery into the phone? And why do we get one more hour of 3G talk time but less in other areas? lol

I think that the real culprit is iOS 5. The iPHone 4 was measured on iOS 4 while the 4S was measured on iOS 5.

It's look like Apple didn't touch anything on Battery Technology in iPhone 4S
