Why not just add calling capabilities to the iPad Mini and be done with it?

I'd like more screen and less bezel. With that said I would have been happy with it even if the outside dimensions were a little bigger. My take is that some guys are just accustomed to carrying around large things in their pants and other aren't.

Samsung offers the Galaxy note 8 which is the size of an iPad mini as a full mobile phone. Has a Smart Cover with ear speaker cutout and all.
