Curiosity meets boredom in yet another interweb poll...

Looks like we have a lot of Mommas boys in amongst us! :) including me :(

So we're momma's boys because we bought a product with the intent of using it for what they advertise it as being able to do?

Maybe you know we're momma's boys because our momma's made us smart enough consumers.

The hacks interest me, but not enough to actually put up with the risk and potential frustration of having to stay up-to-date with each day's new developments and potential issues. I just don't have the patience for it. I don't want to have to think about my phone that much. I guess it doesn't help (or hurt) that I haven't yet seen a "killer app" that tempts me into hacking my phone. I sure have no interest in hacking it just so that it's hacked.

If a really cool app comes along that I think I'd really appreciate using then I'll reconsider, but for now the "because it's there" motivation isn't compelling enough to put up with the frustrations.

i finally got it and am now running 1.1.1 completely hacked with apptapp installed and im using a non-stock cingular sim (cause of my old plan) took all day yesterday but i did get it and now im happy

Oh dont be mean. Im sure he didnt mean momma's boys in a mean way. There are two types of consumers. The ones who buy the product for the product and never look at it in any other way and are fine with that -- you. And the second group are the people who buy it with the specific intent on hacking it, it wouldnt matter if the iphone had every capability in the world, wed still want to hack to do something it couldnt, even if that something was not useful at all. Its just who we are, we love to tinker.
